man that looks nice, i just got my waki last week. i just dont know if i could do that to it though. usually when i do something like that i wish i hadnt touched it in the first place. maybe down the road once i beat some of the finish off of it anyway.

Yeah , I know what you mean. I was hesitant to do it at first, but there is something soothing about sitting down with some sandpaper and polishing a sword up

Yes it was done by hand with metalsand sandpaper 80 grit to 2000 grit

yeah I've been down that road before, it ended up taking me about a month to get it finished, and some real sore fingertips. turned out good but it looked alright before i started i wanted it sharper then i figured what the hell i'll polish it too.

I had fun doing this one, but these super steels are a lot of work to do by hand.
