What is the Scrap Yard knife that you use the most ? For what purpose do you use it for ?
The knives I use the most everyday are:
1.) Folder/pocket knife for cutting open letters, opening packages, cutting loose strings of clothes etc...
2.) 4-5" kitchen/utility knife for food prep and such

Most of the time I use my CS voyager folder. Although, I do carry my HR and have been rotating it out for my Urban Mutt for fixed blade carry. Of course I use both for the same purpose: Everything!!

My EDC is a Spyderco Native, but my most used chopper is Scrapyard Dogfather LE, mostly used for chopping

Usually a folder of some sort or a RC Izula. Use it for food, other small stuff.
Would be awesome if the Yard would make a necker or very small knife, so I could EDC a SY blade.

Without a doubt it is my Rat Trap folder. I use it every day to open packages and such. Next would be my Russel Green River 6" butcher knife in the kitchen.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Come on Bruce - we're not THAT bad! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> But we SHOULD observe Dan's edict to limit ourselves to discussing Bussekin knives on his forum, although comparisons are welcomed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Point taken, but my intent was not to discuss other mfg's knives. The question was aimed at the type/style of knife most often used. I should have worded the question more carefully. Plus I am trying to think of real ideas for posts to help get to the 400,000 mark

Just pose the question; "what is the most used Bussekin knife" to folks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Most used knife by me right now is the S5LE, which is part of my EDC. My regulator is a great blade, but I don't carry it often, and so don't use it often, either.
The only other knife I EDC (and use the hell out of) is one of those little Superknife folding utility knives. It's great for breaking down boxes and such.

A multi-purpose knife with blade, bottle opener, corkscrew, a couple screw drivers, toothpick, tweezers, pen, scissors, file, hook, and needle. I won't mention what brand but it is very COMPACT and useful as an EDC.
I also have one main folder I use that was MADE on a BENCH.
For fixed I use the Scrapper 6 the most.
