I have to get one, all the pics makes me wish I ordered right away. Muddy/Tan is the combo I want.

How is the muddy coating? How about the grips?

I'll shamelessly copy and paste what I wrote on Bladeforums.....

I like the muddy - it's no Bama Clay, but it's close. I think I'm gonna stick to a "dirt" theme for my Busse's - clay and mud The muddy seemed to hold up to the chopping pretty well.

As far as the ergos - I still don't like the handle quite as much as the beefier hand shaped micarta on my NMSFNO, but it's WORLDS better than the Fusion handles. I still got a little bit of Busse Pinky with the Bushwacker, but NOWHERE NEAR as bad as the FSH. It's a good balance of the grip security of the Fusion handle and the comfort of the SF handle. I dig it a lot.

Also, this one came with a hair-shaving edge from the factory. That's been the case with every bit of INFI I've gotten recently... I'm gonna have to stop giving the gang crap about their edges if they keep pumping them out this sharp. Way to go, Busse crew!!!

Nice. How does it compare to the M9 LE that you had, or even the M9 CG?

Hey MM congrats & thanks for the first user pics.
Was there any flexing of the blade during chopping?

Pretty similar balance wise - both are light and fast. I like the BWBM's handle better - it feels more secure in hand, although it does give a bit of the Busse pinky. I like the tip on the BWBM better too. The tip of the M9LE felt kind of thin and it seemed like it would be easy to break.

When I knew the BWBM was coming, I sold my M9LE to raise funds for it. I think it was a wise decision... the BWBM is fast becoming one of my favorite knives, possibly my overall favorite period.

And no, I didn't notice any flexing at all while chopping. I saw it flex once or twice when the blade went REALLY deep on a chop and I had to wiggle it to get it free, but that's it.
