Excellent use of the thermometer on the beef. As a former health inspector, you pass with flying colors.

Well since we were basically snowed in we were eating what we had--stir fry chicken tonight, not bad but not ham or brisket.

Just heated up some mashed taters, corn, prime rib, homemade bread, and gravy over the whole plate. Burp..... [censored] that was good even if I do say so myself.

When Andrew tore up South Florida, the Army Gen had to finally ORDER the Army personnel to eat in their own portable chow halls, that's why they had them. The AF had good grub (at times)ha. All that hard thinking requires energy don'tchaknow.

Over the summer our farmer’s market offers the usual mix of locally grown fruits and vegetables, quality meats and baked goods, crafts for sale, free entertainment, and food booths. The market stays open until the weekend before Christmas. People get to buy Christmas presents. The market gets to sell Christmas presents. It’s a win-win arrangement.
On the weekend before Christmas one of the food booths set a car’s hubcap on display. Alongside of it was a sign reading:
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL EGGS BENEDICT ON A HUBCAP “Oh, there’s no plates like chrome for the Hollandaise….”
