i hope everyone in the yard remains happy and healthy with fat wallets (until new blades are released, and if they arent, that they may find a large briefcase full of 100$ bills.

secondly i hope the next release is something small and affordable.something i can buy and carry with me everyday that isnt large (i.e necker?)

thirdly, i hope everyone manages to land their grail knives.

Happy New years guys

I just want to be "wowed" this year. The SOD knocked my socks off and the Regulator was pretty sweet.

My wish is to be floored by a new design. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I just wish that my planned relocation to Colorado (meaning a new job) pans out, so I have both the funds to purchase whatever Dan puts out, and the opportunity to head up into the Rockies to use it.

Really, I've got myself pretty well covered in terms of practical blades from the Yard, so there's not too much specific stuff I need. That said, there's always stuff I want....

A long, thin bladed SR-77 chopper would be cool. Something as machete-like as possible would fit the bill. I'm thinking a clone of the Cold Steel LTC Kukri, or a golok or bolo shape.

For that matter, a spring tempered, thinner version of the Bird Dog LE would be a SWEEEEEEET kitchen and fishing knife. That thing screams fillet knife but is too thick to use for filleting small panfish.

Continue to keep the knives low priced.

Put out a bushcraft knife that has a thin blade, maybe even a scandi grind.

May we all have decent paying, fulfilling jobs.

I also wish everyone here a Safe, Happy, Healthy Peaceful and Prosperous New Year for 2010. That being said, My next set of wishes is hey, lets say a COMBO. How about a Magnum chopper 11-12 inch .165-.175 inch chopper along the lines of a reverse tanto (where the point is a longer extended edge than the spine. The point looks like this (/) but at a shallower angle. Along with a 3 1/2 INCH TOTAL BLADE LENGTH companion knife in a piggyback sheath!

I am ready for something unique, maybe a warnie or something we have not yet seen from the Yard.
