Ok, another day and 'nother stack of numbers to add up! So what we waiting for? Get ready get set Let's GO GO GO!!!

Ok now, the knives forum side of the Scrap yard is setting at 425,041, up from 424,743 just yesterday morning. That gives an increase of 298 posts, about half what we need to average per day, but not a bad day.

The ZDC PAGE count has gone from a low yesterday morning of 292 to a whopping 304 pages for an increase of 12 pages! Hey not very shabby at all. An even dozen for the day!

Ok now for the biggie. Todays total post count has gone from a low yesterday of 445,110 to 445,410 for a daily increase of 300 posts. Oh man, Just ONE post shy of 300! Gonna have to fix that. Ok, NOW we got our 300 post day, but I gotta fix the numbers now. Ok got all that done so on to the AVERAGE posts needed per day and how many to 500K.

Ok, using the fixed numbers here is how it stacks up this morning.

Using our goal of 500,000 posts as the target, then subtracting the actual post count of 445,410 that gives us 54,590 posts to go in order to reach our goal. OR put another way, we have to AVERAGE 634.767 posts per day to get there before January 01 2011. Sounds like an impossible task but them posts keep a climbin and the number needed for our 500k keep gettin smaller all the time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Todays Lucky numbers won't win you a Million dollars, but they WILL put us closer to our goal of a half of a Million posts in the last 4 years!

Ok, the Knives forum side has decided to rest at 425,431 posts, which is up from 425,041 yesterday morning for an increase of 390 posts. They keep adding up!

The ZDC Page count has gone from page 304 up to gee wheez, 319 pages! That has increased us 15 pages!

Ok, now for the last two catagories.

The TOTAL site post count has gone from a low yesterday morning of 445,410 up to todays ending count of 445,810! That has given us an increase of 400 posts! Hey, not to awful shabby If I do say so!

Ok, now for the really IMPORTANT thangs we be worried about.

Using 500,000 as our quest, and subtracting our post count as of this moment, that leaves us with 54,190 posts to go. Ok, we've got 85 days left in the year counting today so that means we have to average 637.529 posts every day to get our Half A Million posts before the end of the year. Will we make it? Realistically speaking probably not, but it IS possible. The Main thing is that we WILL be able to give DAN bragging rights at this upcoming years BLADE! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Oh and SP suggested that Dan MIGHT WANT to sweeten the pot by offering the person that makes the 500,000th post "Something special"! What ya say Dan, Maybe a ScrapYard T-shirt with 500,000 posts or something on it? Nothing over the top, just a little something to commerate this historic event.

Wow, another 24 hours and another day has past. Boy that sounds stupid don't it. A wise person once said, Stupid is as Stupid does! Ha, don't be afraid to make fun of yourself. Give someone a chance to laugh, it may be the only bright part of their day!

Ok, The Knives forum is setting at 425,621 posts, an increase of 190 since yesterday morning.

Ok, the ZDC page count has gone from 319 pages yesterday morning up to 324 pages today, but that does not tell the MAGNITUDE of the increase.

The total forum post count has once again entered uncharged territory. Yes folks we had a high yesterday morning of 445,810 posts to are you ready, hold your breath, 446,003 posts! Yup, that's right, we have busted into the 446K range!

AND using this new site post count that only leaves us with 53,997 posts to go for our 500K goal! That means we got to average 642.8333..... posts per day to get there Before New Years Day 2011.

Like the song says, lets HIT IT WITH OUR BEST SHOT!

Oh TAY I'm back so I guess Y'all gonna be stuck with having this thing imposed upon ya once again. So with further torture, let's get it over with!

The Knife forum only side of the house is setting at 426,328 posts as of 10-13-2010, up from 425,621 when I did my last update to this thread on the 9th. So that means that in 4 days it has grown 707 posts for an average of 176.5 posts.

The ZDC PAGE count has gone up to 350 pages, up from 324 for a page count increase of 26 pages or 6.50 pages per day.

Well now, here comes one of the more important counts.
The TOTAL site POST count is now setting at 446,738, up from 446,003 for an increase of 735 posts for an average of 183.5 posts per day.

Ok, using the numbers I have listed above, we have 53,263 posts to go by the end of the year. Stated another way, that means we have to AVERAGE 665.787 posts per day for the 80 days (counting today) that remain until 01/01/11!

Now we'll all admit that is a lot of posting. Realistically it probably isn't gonna happen, but we can still GIVE IT OUR BEST SHOT!

Ok, on this most momentous day, our very own Private Klink, the FIRST Junk Yard Dog surpassed 17 THOUSAND posts! It was a most joyous occasion. In attendance were JarheadJournaist, The PitsBro52 and yours truly. In the few remaining hours after waking up Tom, and Friends stuck together and rallied to help a Brother “over the top” And with that, let’s get on with the numbers.

The ZDC page count has now reached new heights with 367 pages!

The Knives forum only side of the house today topped out at 426,801 posts up form 426,358 yesterday morning!

And the TOTAL site post count is now at 447,224 posts up from 446,738 posts yesterday morning which into another new uncharted territory!

So using this logic as our starting point, we now only have 52,776 posts to go before 01/01/11.

And seeings how we got 79 days to go that means we have to AVERAGE 668.050 posts per day. Hey at the rate we went at this morning, we could probably do it!
