That would be ideal, speedsix. But it would also require a degree of cooperation I don't think we could achieve in such a short period of time. I think the best thing to do is just look at the results of the poll before the SantaGanzaa begins and factor them into the selection process. That's what I intend to do. Whether doing that will make any difference, however, remains to be seen.
I posted a simple poll that gave the options of knife or shop credit.
That way you can see what the general trend is going to be. If 80% of the people are going for the cash, I would try for a knife. Here is why, my first thought was that I wanted shop credit to buy a Boss Street. I was pretty sure I wanted credit but sort of flipped flopped on the price in my mind. I voted in the poll but there is a chance that I would change my mind and go for a slightly higher or lower credit. There is much less chance that I would suddenly go for a knife when I was thinking about getting cash to buy something.
Does that make sense? My thought is that the knife verses credit poll may be of use if there is a big enough difference in percentages. If it is 48% to 52%, it is pretty much worthless but if it is like 80%-20%, that is something to go on.
