Believe it or not that sheath came with a Muk I got off the Exchange. Didn't fit the Muk at all. It is a Combat Master but I don't know if it is long or short. I had to stretch the kydex a bit now the Regulator fits great.

Those are some great pics and a great review. I did some of the same testing out in the woods and came up with the same results. I liked the blade durability and edge retention and the grip provided great retention and shock absorbsion. I didn't get any pics from being out in the woods,

but I did get some while at the junk yard...






It took a couple of hard stabs to get it to penetrate the windshield but it finally went through. It did roll the tip on the Regulator in the process though.







Now, stabbing into the hood was not only easy but it was also fun and a great stress reliever. It was almost like cutting through paper and the knife still had a usable edge on it too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Note the damage on the end of the handle from pounding it into logs out in the woods from the previous weekend.



This pic is the of the outer front edge of the hood. First, I stabbed the Regulator into the hood, penetrating both the outer shell and the underlying sheet metal support. I then proceeded to pound on the spine of the knife with a three pound sledge cutting out through the front edge of the hood. Very impressive!









The next test was cutting through the thicker bumper support, with the aid of the three pound sledge of course. As you can see from the pics, the Regulator cut through the outer edge of the steel until it reached the inner and much thicker part of the bumper support. Overall, I was very impressed with the performance of the Regulator. Now, I know that this test was overkill for what the practical purpose of the knife is for, but Renee requested that I use and abuse it. So I did. I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a sharped prybar under the appearance of a knife. You won't be disappointed! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I cant remember if I put it in my recommendations but I would love to see some kind of "hammer butt" so you can pound on and pound with the Regulator.
