SUCKS about the blades man.....i hate to say it but never ever leave anything in your trucks! here in vancouver you cannot even leave a penny on the dash , the addicts will smash your windows to get it

if ya gotta leave gear in a truck, bolt a heavy duty STEEL box THRU the floor with 9/16" grade 8 bolts and beefy washers, and use Nylock nuts and washers on the other side. Use RED or BLACK loctite on the fasteners to ENSURE they cannot be undone. Use an ABUS DISCUS lock to secure the box.
I did this in my old bronco, and put the batteries, ignition, coil, MSD control unit, plus i had a section for gear. The whole thing was bolted shut and locked. The truck had no top or canopy, or doors. I could leave it in the woods or in the DTES (hells kitchen vancouver) for weeks and nothing would getinto it.

Last night at work, my car and a few others were broken into. Now my car ain't the best looking. An old beat up dented corolla. nothing in the car worth taking.Radio's old and doesn't work but they went into the truck and took my floor jack and my Camel bak backpack that my nephew gave me. This was my Bug Out Bag! In it was my DF, Mini Uncle Mojo and my SoD that a fellow Yard brother gave me for X-mas!!
Luckily enough, my Howling Rat's beside the bed, my S5 live in my Maxped knockoff bag and my urban mutt stays at my side. My Challenge Coin was in my pocket,thankfully enough.
Cops came and took reports, but all I have is basic liability insurance.Won't cover the loss of my pack or knives!
At least I still have my working knives.
Hope to God they get what they deserve!!! I am real sorry to hear about your loss. If there is a pawn shop in the neighborhood take a copy of your photos to them with your number on it...you might be surprised...thieves are not the smartest and pawn shop owners do not want to handle hot goods I hope they get em Dan
