You know it wouldn't cost that much to press fit a guard on and trim the Reg Res-c.

You know it wouldn't cost that much to press fit a guard on and trim the Reg Res-c. Yep, that's exactly what I am thinking. I bet I could shape something ugly but workable with nothing but a dremel and some metal scrap. Seriously thinking about giving it a try once I'm settled down in my new place, whenever we actually FIND a new place.

I've been thinking of doing that exact same thing myself. I also know some people with a machine shop who could do it for me, but it would be more fun to do it myself.
