Just thinking of how well that steel guard would click into a plastic sheath.

Hey, what if this is all just a big joke? What if that's just some kind of photo shopped pic of the Regulator?
It would be talked about for years.

Probably not. Just seeing how it's got everyone so riled up, it would be hilarious if it were a joke.

Dan's going to post the real pics of the new Regulator after using every last suggestion that the Test Team made and it will come out looking exactly like the Waki but with a long Res-C handle.
Oh yeah, and it it will be a folder. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

No, it will be an out-the-front automatic with the waki blade.

I was interested in this new handle design but I figured that the guards would not hold up to a lot of abuse. I think its fine though for the blade style. lets face it, you can baton wood with almost any knife if you HAD to but some are just better designed for the task. I bought a SOD for a chopper. sure it will cut a tomato if I needed to but it wouldnt be the best tool for the job, which is why I picked up a S5LE. If i decided to purchase a regulator I would consider it a replacement for my Ka-bar which sits under my driver seat and handles all types of general purpose tasks when needed.
