I'm lucky. My dad is a master leather crafter. Used to own a custom leather shop making holsters and all types of custom items. I'm not bad but his work is far, far superior to mine. I will ask him to make the next sheath I need.

I wonder if the new Reg. blade is actually thinner. I can't really tell from the photo.

What if the biggest news is that you get to pick your version of the Regulator-- TT or the new design? I think that would be pretty sweet, since they are almost two different knives in terms of ideal function: TT as the jack-of-all-trades knife (...which is the traditional Bowie function) and the new Reg as the "designated fighter." I Reeeeeeeally hope so! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

yeah all the TT's have suddenly disappeared from the exchanges for some reason..... That was funny. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I wonder why <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> Again, I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'd rather wait until Dan releases the specs on the new Reg before I pass judgement on its worthiness to replace its predecessor. On the other hand, I too would have held onto my TT Reg if I had one. Without knowing the complete specs on the new Reg, letting go of the TT Reg is too big a gamble to take IMO. Finalizing the pricing. I will provide specs and thinking... very soon Dan

I can wait for the specs as it really won't affect the selling cycle at all and I am sort of getting a kick out of reading some of the speculation. I love the TT regulator and am not sure if I'll buy the new regulator or not
