the SRKC has the waki now are they planning on releasing more after the pre orders are done for this again? since ive been on only the waki has been for sale.

Maybe after the Regulator has been distributed, Scrapyard could have a Wakazashi in SR-77 (tougher and more affordable) to give Busse and Swamprat Wakis a run for their money!

We need a 5/16" (or thicker) SR-77 BOWIE!!! (Written back in early '07 -- Regulator Premonition?)

Whats the point of a choil on a handle like that? Can you really choke up on it? Are you going to choke up on a fighter?

I think Dan should have just brought the edge right on down to the guard, no choil.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.

You would be suprised how easy it is to choke up with that handle. For fine work it's nice having the choil and I think the new choil design is a great improvement.

I think Wauseon wallets may work a little differently than you think. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I forgot they were in Wauseon. Farm livin', front porch sippin' and no bills to speak of.

HA! I wish we had no bills, that would be sweet!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

it's like how many licks does it take to get to th center of a tootsie pop

That got me wondering... How many licks does it take to get all the coating off of a Regulator?

So far with the flat grind, I've only seen a little thinning of the finish right at the edge grind. I think the sabre grind will show wear faster.

I agree, the finish on my Dogfather shows wear (noticeably shinier) right along the sabre grind just from sheathing and unsheathing over time. I have it in the black sheath that was offered from Scrapyard on release, too, not a concrete sock.

Actually, that said, I don't really care. I really like that sheath and hope that one will be offered for the Regulator as well. Or a leather one like there was for the SS4.
