I do like the Sandbar prybar, though.

Here's an off-topic thought. I love the great state of Texas, but I find it ironic that the one state that is synonymous with Bowie knives has outlawed Bowie knives. I just had to get off my chest. I hope the mods can find it in their hearts to forgive me for getting off topic.

So, I think Texas Regulator is out of the question.

Well I guess a few Texican loosing their guts on main street probably had something to do with that!

The Sandbar fight was in LA, the Bowie knives were made in several places to include LA and AR, but it was Texas where Bowie laid his life down.

Oh man, now I need to watch Young Guns......Last night/early morning there was the made for TV Alamo and Texas movie on the Encore Western channel. Kinda fitting since I was thinking about Bowie blades and all.

I suspect that the Regulator will stay just that - the Regulator. The introductory (Test Team) version will be the TT Regulator. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Probably name my production blade Sandbar the Prybar since it will probably be a saber grind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Yes, Natchez I believe. I was referring to the Alamo.

I think half the fun of being a knife maker
would be naming the knife.
Maybe we should let Dan name this one,
just this one time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Just plain Regulator sounds like a winner to me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just for fun?You mean the best name doesn't get a free regulator?

It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

Could name it like a sequel of a move = Regulator II

Could have a whole series of them, Regulator, Regulator II, Regulator III, etc.

I'm pretty sure it will be called "Regulator"

Well, Spider-Pig, "The Prequel" on its own is pretty good, as in "I've been chopping the crap out of stuff since before you were born, son."
