I'd even be interested up to a full-sized sword (Cutlass), or a shorter "sword"/machete (I recall Scrap Yard bolo/golok discussions, although a true machete can be had for a lot less than I'd expect Dan's version to sell for). A MOAB class blade (although perhaps "only" 1/4-inch thick) at Scrap Yard prices would almost certainly sell well.

Jerry's BWM design with a standard Res-C handle is pretty much a Dog Father; I think the biggest difference would be the square choil.

Not really, man - I think Res-C is better suited for knife handles, not blades. A 12" Res-C blade would be to weak and wouldn't cut a thing. Oh my God I couldn't stop laughing! Way to funny. But I on a serious note, I think with Dan's heat treatment a 12" Res C blade could work.

Absolutely. The KZ will be a great knife, but for the ultimate chopper we need Res-C. I would love to have an nice wide 16" SR-77 blade with a two hand grip. If that's a bit much, a 12" regulator would be great. I almost think the regulator pattern would be better suited to a 12" blade than the DogFather, the bowie style appeals to me a little more right now. I wouldn't complain about a 12" DF though.

I'd go for a Regulator with a 12 inch blade!

Yes, I love the bigger knives too....Dan has already given me my ideal small knife ... the S5LE ...now I want a NMDFLE ( infi if poss but any steel would do )...then I can retire to the role of just posting "user" pic's in great locations ...
Res C definately makes for the most comfortable grip on a "chopper" ... heck...if Dan would open a custom shop I would send him my KZ and ask him to skeletonize the grip and add a Res C handle the same shape as the original KZ which is very comfortable....BUT you would probably loose 3-5 oz off the weight AND I would have my ultimate Khukri as well ...
Those two "projects" and my S5LE would be all the knives I would ever want or need ... sell the rest and go on a "photo location user safari"
