This type of post comes up every now and then ... but with the infusion of new blades by Jerry there still seems to me a combination which is missing .... a good long thin knife with a Res C handle...going through my knives the thing I am always wanting is a 12 inch 3/16 thick blade with a Res C handle like the Dogfather... essentially a NMFBM with a Res C grip in 3/16 stock made from any number of steels at Dan's disposal ... name your choice ... SR77, SR101, CPM154, or whatever else you think possible ... Infi I doubt but obviously would welcome with open arms... although CPM154 or SR101 would be interesting ... as would SR77 ...

The more I use my knives the more a "user" with Res C shines from the crowd...

Sometimes if the take up is sufficient the message gets through ...

I want something comfortable which is slightly lighter than a NMFBM ...does anyone else?

What is the longest blade done in Res C? Is it the Battle Rat?

Jerry's BWM design cut out of SR-77 and as posted in another thread, a Regulator handle on it.

Not really, man - I think Res-C is better suited for knife handles, not blades. A 12" Res-C blade would be to weak and wouldn't cut a thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Great ideas so far. I like the idea of a res-c big 12"+ blade.
