I would like a 5/16" thick, 12 inch long, Dogfather (or GrandDogFather)in SR77 to keep costs reasonable and stick with the "dogfather" name.

I would buy many, many of them.

So what we need is a design idea to go with the 'Muttchete' name. (I like that name!) I'd say a Dan 'revisioning' of the Martindale Golok would be very good! I've always liked the Golok for it's good chopping design and the fact you can dig, pry or hammer with it... 3/16" thick sr77 would be just fine. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
