Alright, not sure if I am the only one however it just feels like too much energy is going in the wrong direction here in the Yard.

I figured I'd create a thread for positive stuff. Like what you already have for sweet SY steel and more importantly what you use or have used it for.

I challenge everyone to post a story about how they have enjoyed their knives.

Please keep this thread on topic.

I use my DogFather LE the most, mainly for chopping branches and such around the ranch. I also carry my Regulator quite a bit - it rotates with my Tali-Whacker.

I wish I had pics to go along with this story.

This summer I decided to paint my house. Well the last paint job was pretty cruddy and needed a lot of scraping.

I had push scrapers, pull srapers, putty knives of all sizes. And none of them worked as well as I would have liked, plus they all needed resharpening frequently.

I had enough and brought out my S5CG and boyhowdy did that work great. The grind angle was perfect for taking off paint and the tip got those hard to reach places. I took most of my house to bare wood with my Scrapper Scraper!

I even helped my buddy do his house, he liked my Scrapper Scraper and I almost didn't get it back.

I've made a ton of fires with my SOD (most of which were in my folks back yard in their fire pit.)

That thing batons like a champ. Once at a little family BBQ I was using it to split a log that was over 5 inches in diameter. It had a crazy knot in it as well. I didn't think the SOD would make it through, but a few more good whacks and the log gave. That thing's a beast! Been with me on every camping trip last year and will most likely be with me this year as well.
