The second one I ordered was shipped before the first one. Apparently they don't ship in order, but I'm pretty excited.
I've never bought a knive through the mail. Is there a special protocol I need to be aware of for when the knife arrives?

Yup! First let your hands stop shaking, then carefully dance round the house holding the box. After that, carefully open the box and remove your new knife. Proceed to oooh and aaah over the piece of art in your hands. Then you can cut up the box the knife came in. Following that it is acceptable to again dance around the house with the knife prior to running outside to try it on something! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I think that I've had one knife that had be signed for by someone who was 18 (said it on the label) through UPS, but thats the only one that has been like that.

Patti has a ton of work to do and I would rather she focus on packing and shipping instead of updating the computer system! Very true. Looking back on it. I got my DF confirmation the night before my knives arrived, and I know they weren't overnighted.
