I shot this 30 lb female at about 100 yards with my Yote Hammer. 58gr hornady vmax bullets do a number on yotes and grey diggers.

I went through and read the forum rules again. I hope this does not violate Rule #2. I tried to "play it safe" according to Rule #5, so I chose the least bloody picture that I had of that kill.

If this is not acceptable, please let me know and I will not continue to post these type of pictures. The only thing I want "Banned" are my blades.

JYD #119 Just because you're right doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Myketheknife,

I typically give the pelts to my cousin. He has people who use them. I know that if the pelts are good, you can get 15.00 for them. That pays for a box of shells...almost.

Since I'm using a .243 that is very explosive, the exit wounds are pretty big. So, I can't really sell most of the ones I shoot. I don't take many shots but the ones I do are usually one shot kills. But, it makes it really easy to take the blood samples for the predator control team that I am part of.

I thought they would go for more than that.I hear coyote is a very warm fur.

That's just tossing them in a bag and spraying raid to kill the parasites. If you skin them you can get more.
