The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

Hey, I didn't miss it. I was out to dinner with the Mrs. We had Indian food.

We have four boys, so any time we can get away is worth it!

Policy is to not discuss numbers. So when they are gone they are gone

Well, I'm hoping I have turned a few new guys on to ScrapYard Knives with the release of the Regulator. Some guys are so used to seeing the same knives over and over that they don't realize the "goods" when they see it.

Guiness is good. Its even good with a little Bass ale.

I like Bass...can't stand the "oil in a can" though. Another story is needed:

My wife and I decided to throw a party to celebrate our first house...oh, maybe 8 years ago (geez, feeling old). Anyhow, my one luxury provided was a Keg of Bass Ale. It was freaking AWESOME! I drank my share but regretted it later, as I think I recall depositing some of it in the back yard a little later on . Great night, though! Everyone got snuckered and then played James Bond on the Nintendo (forget which model...so long ago).

Best,
Max

I learned to drink that oil in a can from a Brit who ended up being my roomate early on in my career...I did teach him to drink bourbon

There is an important lession that i can pass on to all of you...Under no circumstances ever, ever try to drink a Brit under the table because you will loose and he will serve you breakfast on the table you are under with a smile on his face the next day. I still have no idea how they do it...must be genetics or an advanced race of drinkers. They will forever remain on a pedistal in my blood shot eyes...cheers

I once got tanked with a brit. Now, lemme start by saying Marines can DRINK. I'm convinced that brits have an inhuman ability to still be able to continue drinking and carry a conversation while being passed out drunk. It was a photo finish between SHE and I. Think we BOTH ended up under the table, with no one to serve us breakfast

Its funny, at first I was interested in going because of the chance to buy a bunch of knives, as time passes, I'm less interested in that , and more interested in meeting everyone

Very cool ...a hot date away from the family. I always tell Patti that we should have taken pictures...a passing/fleating memory LOL. Good for you

Glad you could join in

Well Dogs, time for me to take a pill, walk the dogs, and turn in early! Catch you all on the flip side - have a great night! Tom
