Not sure if any one else is, but I know that I am having a hard time finding consistent info on the regulator release. I understand that the time has yet to be announced, but my questions deal more the mere chance of being able to buy one. I have heard that these are under the “new plan” (like the S5), yet I have also read that numbers are limited which to me, sounds contradictory. Maybe I am just misunderstanding something here so I guess I look to you all for help. I am not a TT person, but am military. With that being said, I qualify for the $89 price, correct?
Second, I am unable to constantly be checking the computer (I can get on at least once a day) and am wondering if that means that there is a very good chance (hence “ganza” silliness) that I may miss out on the military discount and have to pay the retail of $130, is this correct?
Third, anyone know what the policy is as far as “proving” I am military? Do I need to “pre-register” my credentials or is this something that is done at time of order, or after order is complete? Also, anyone know how will we go about proving we deserve the discount? Will a scan of my oath count? Any other ideas (there is something that doesn’t sit too well with scanning my CAC card and putting that as an attachment).
Anyway, sorry for all the questions and thanks for the help.

Damon, can't really answer you questions 100% but here goes. email Dan, or preferably Renee or patty (email address on the main site page or look under one of sticky threads). Also, since you are ACTIVE DUTY you may not need to get in on the TT price. YOU MAY QUALIFY AS 'MILITARY' CONTRACT. Don't really know but ask Renee and or Patti and I am sure they will steer you in the right direction. I hope this helps you some. And I would say just scan your ID card and send that in the email for your order notification. I've had to email scanned copy of my Retired Militay and my LE ID and have never had a problem.

My best guess is that quantities will not be limited because the Regulator is being produced in a large military run, and the new business plan is to take orders prior to the end of production. However, the "Test Team Special Price" is limited both in terms of who qualifies for it and in how many they can order at that price. I don't know any more about it than anyone else, but that's how I interpreted this announcement: Regulators For Under $100.00 ???... You Betcha!

Maybe just wait until they announce it hopefuly tommorow . I am reading the same as Jim. My only question is the wait- wondering if they will be availible right away. I am quite sure this will all be clear soon

Me all confused. But then again, I live in a perpetual state of confusion--------especially on a Monday after wrestling season is over.

Hi all, (1st posting here..) I've been on the boards since the regulator release preview. I'm really excited to jump on the opportunity when it becomes available. I just want to clarify that when available it will show up in the 'shop' and I can simply click to purchase with cc or paypal? I'm trying to confirm no special alternate ID scanning or anything else is required... Thanks a lot - glad to be here.

Welcome to the Yard AJC, glad to have you. I'm sure Dan will make everything clear when the time comes. If you are planning on getting the discount (mil, Rescue etc) might not hurt to have a scanned copy of your ID saved and ready to go on your computer
