I really hope the next release is something in the 4-5" range. I'll buy one of whatever Dan makes, but if a true "small survival knife" comes along...I'm selling plasma to get a dozen of them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I hate to break it to you, but IMHO he did that last year...twice.

The combat grade Scrapper 5 in coated SR101 (four color choices) for about $100 with mudder handles (three color choices). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Yeah - I bought two of the Scrapper 5's in black grip / tanker grey blade...wish I would have bought 10 more.

Nice call fastcamo. I'd get me some of those! However you'll have to wait until after Dan makes my SS4 in 154 with orange mudders...

After those two, he'll probably be able retire on his own island. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yard Keeper is as close as you are going to get Camo. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

After the YKLE at a fourth of an inch thick came out I knew I had seen it all! It is the stoutest 4 inch blade I have ever seen, let alone owned. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

It is a pry bar and holds a hair poppin edge for ever! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

A 154CM would make no sense for sales since Dan has blanketed it already,
but it NEVER hurts to voice your wishes as The Big Dog DOES listen!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I'd buy ANYTHING he puts out in Stainless..cause he does it so well! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Peace.

There is always room for more Stainless from Scrap Yard Knife Company!

And a 4 inch Drop Point Hunter would give me shivers!

Peace.

SR 101 versus INFI......I am betting the 101 more than holds it's own <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Throw in 154 and I am betting for edge retention the 154 will be the winner. As for value- I will for sure go with the 154 and 101 with the edge going to the 154. All are great knives especially when Dan is doing the job <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />- but I think my favorite is probably the 154. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I passed on the muk because I already have a lot of bussekin in that size range and now I definitely wish that I didn't. I did grab a BDLE and MPLE though and they really are sweet, especially at that pricepoint.

IMO the Muk is probably one of the best if not the very best knife that SY has produced <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. At this point I think I have one of just about all. I do not have every single color combo of the S5- but I have several. I also have a few Muks and will probably get even more via proxy I hope. I do not have the black mudder and I rather like that combo. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

What's that knife on top of the Bird Dog, and Muk, It looks pretty close to FC's dreamer. I would like one of those and a bird dog. Another dream is for Dan to make about a 12-13 inch hatchet. Maybe along the lines of the crash axe, but with the pionted end more flat to be able to use as a hammer type tool.

I'm coming to regret not moving on the muk and bird dog- but then again they started grwoing on me more with the black handles...

I like sharpening 101 better than 154 too...so that plays into my thinking.

I love my 154CM blades, especially the ones from the Yard. I am in for more!
