not a fan of the new grips actually, and i like that it doesnt have a manual safety, the fnx's do

though theres 2 things i forgot to ask.
1. if it can be fired without a magazine
2. if the stock sights are steel or plastic

I like the grips okay with the flat insert with lanyard hole on the FNX, and I like the safety. I also like the ambidextrous controls.
I really like my Five-seveNs also, but I like the feel of the FNX better.
You will really enjoy the FNP.
Only change I would make is offer them all with 5.5 to 6" barrels with full-length slides.

to be honest, if i had to make a change to the fnp, the only thing would be for it to be striker fired instead of an exposed hammer.
...oh yea and for it to be 350$ again lol

I understand. I'm a righty also, but like trying things lefty. I also have some family members who are lefty.
The great thing about handguns is that I can use my dominant eye while shooting with my "weak" hand. It's much easier than shooting shotguns and rifles from the "weak" side.
