RMD has about a five and half inch blade, which is the max you can carry here in Texas. That choil on the HRLM seems a bit small to me.

Paper is a little heavier I think? And more prone to breaking I would imagine. The canvas will be more prone to color change from fluids (like the grease on your skin).

Paper is smoother, canvas is grippier. I prefer canvas.

So, I ordered a HRLM, people seem to really love the RMD.. They seem very similar to me, and the HRLM has about a 4 inch blade as far as I can tell.

Why would you pick one over the other?

I am loaded with knifes in the RMD size range, but everyone says it is the Perfect knife, so I need to see what all the fuss is about.

For me the HRLM is a tweener size that I don't have much use for. If I want a worker I go bigger and if I want an EDC I go smaller.

I have the RMD, and to me the perfect knife would be an INFI RMD. So right now the Scrapper 5 LE is the perfect knife for me.

Kindof tanish/green Architect. My wife would probably classify it as a "taupe", which is a light brown with some grey/green mixed in.

Check out the busse site, they have that color listed on the BWM's.

I got a Tanker Grey one also and right before I hit the Send button I added a Sage one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

And the tan/sage RMD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Now I will have to add sheaths for these as well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
