This thread got me "looking" at Cold Steel.. ARGH!!
Been drooling over the Busse AK-47 & Ruck Kensei ever since.. well for quite awhile now!
There's No doubt the amount of INFI for the $$ is unbeatable.. However.. my Wallet BEGS for ScrapYard version(s)! imo.. SR-77 would be Great in a Sword!
This thread got me in SUCH a sword mood.. that i actually popped in my Cold Steel "Swords" DVD.. just so i could watch some fat guys chop meat, cardboard, rolled up mats, phone books, & other stuff. Hey at least they were having Fun! Hell even Their "Imperial" series is way out there in $$ price! $675-$875 their "Warrior" series is.. $460-$550 Albeit lower @ interweb knife/sword shops.
Both are supposedly "tempered 1055 carbon steel". Nah.. for that kinda money.. i'd go Busse/Infi..
But i'd Rather go ScrapYard instead!!

I would like light, thin "Jungle" Kukri/machete. Something you can swing fast, but a little more rugged than a machete, and a little thinner and lighter than the traditional kukris. I would like a 11" to 13"blade of 1/8" to 3/16" thick SR-77 steel and the great Res C handle. Don't forget about us in the swamps and heavy cover. Something like this, only better: ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/CSMTC004-1.jpg)
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

SR-77 would be Great in a Sword! Without a doubt, Tony. Without a doubt: Angel Sword If it is to be a sword, make it a gladius or falcata. No more Ninja stuff, please.

I agree, the Yard has the chance to do something unique as opposed to the standard Samurai/ninja sword. Plus it would just be cool!

I like the AK47 style from Busse alot. The design is PERFECT for chopping and the scrap yard steel would be perfect for this style sword. A great zombie killer

Don't know if you have seen my many request and questions about a sword from the Yard. Can you give us an idea if it's even being considered? This would be an excellent seller and others have stated they would be very interested in one too. Please consider this and make alot of us dogs happy. Not on the drawing board. Thanks for the input Dan
