Got tired of looking at this palm tree
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
So did my DFLE, after about 2 minutes of chopping
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
had to remove all the fronds, one or two chops a piece
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
Had to cut the trunk in half to load it in my truck
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
a little work with the pry bar to remove the stump and roots

Palm tree 0 Dogfather 1
[Linked Image from i1010.photobucket.com]
After a quick wipe down with some WD 40, good as new

And all this was after I spent about an hour chipping apart a 3 foot deep by 2 foot wide concrete slab with a electric chipping hammer

When you said prybar, you meant the DFLE, right?

I used the dfle to chop out all the roots, but I had to use a real pry bar to get under the stump and pop it up

The DFLE flat out FLIES! It bit deep and didn't bind once, it was a pleasure to take this tree down

Yes, the DFLE does fly. Now you know why it is my favorite chopper. Not too heavy, not too light, but just right. Great pics!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

And as a testament to how comfy res-c handles are, I did that chopping with a nickel size blister on the palm of my right hand from the chipping hammer and no glove
