Yep I'd prefer it all at once. That way I know whether to budget it in or not.

To be perfectly honest- I like to actually handle a knife BEFORE I buy. I have several knives that looked really great- specs were good and after I held it- I didn't like it at all . Not just Busse- but many others too. With Busse-I know I can alawys sell if I desire and at a profit . With many others- this is just not the case. I even have knives that I thought both looked and felt great- and when I got them in the field I didn't like the performance. I can usually tell how well I likke a knife when I sharpen it. If I can't drop a fast field edge on a knife- it is " thumbs down" . The other side of the coin is sometimes I buy a knife just on a whim and it turns into one of my best users . So- in the end it is an educated crap shoot. With Busse-I am usually more than pleased.
As for Ganza steel- the whole process can be fun and if I hit on something I just smile .Not that big of a deal to me. If I took collecting knives too serious- i would just find something else to do. For me it is just about pure fun . Thanks

I am sure your constructive criticism is always appreciated ... I mean .... there has'nt been that many posts about negativity in the yard ... only about half a dozen .... and I hope you don't mind my joking about it .... but a joke sometimes is better than saying something straight ... if you see what I mean ...

But for me I cannot see any harm in an initial photo .... the spec's follow in due course ... but it is nice to have a "fun" aspect to it all rather than taking things too seriously ...

Specs ASAP are preferred.

Please add WEIGHT to the specs as well.

No problem.

I read a marvelous little (and I do mean LITTLE) book some time ago that I talk about here from time to time. It's called The Four Agreements. It's written by don Miguel Ruiz and it's been on the New York Times bestseller list for eight years. I do the best I can to incorporate the Four Agreements into my life on a daily basis. My favorite Agreement (and the one I find the most difficult to put into practice) is number two: Don't take take anything personally.

Great read Bruce- I have a copy on my night stand and the study book. Peter did bring out some very good thoughts. It's all good.......matter of fact it's GREAT

I voted for number one since I kinda get a feel for the knife based on other knives. I love holding a knife first but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. I know a lot of people love the S5 but I found it not to my liking but I like the S5. Wierd, I know. I hope I will like the Reg and Dereg based on how much I like the TT Reg. Looks like we will be finding out soon.

Of course, it's not my call, but I like information as soon as possible -- I'd even like a drawing with specs before the first blade gets ground if they'd post it.

Well, personally I like it all at the same time. But Starting with "teaser' tidbits about a knew knife such as the Weiner dog Pic. Then after the "board" had started cracking with excitement and speculation post a picture. Then let the excitement build even higher and then list the specs. AND finally, just shortly after the specs list the price and when it will be available. BUT PERSONALLY, I WOULD LIKE IT ALL AT ONCE. Oh and also list heat treat, through or differential and hardness.
