To me, it seems that the greens and yellows are over exaggerated in some of the pics. The Star sprinkler corp sign looks nice. The original looks nice and more natural than the processed ones. It really depends on what you're going for...? If you want to brighten it up and aren't concerned with making it look real/natural then that's what you should do. But, that is leaning more towards art and less toward true photography...because, you are changing the scene in an artistic way to look like you want it to, rather than keeping it in it's most natural / true form. Take the pic outside and hold it up beside the scene and compare. That should help you to see how realistic the colors are to what you see. Many people love HDR photography because it artificially enhances the colors (Myself included) but it can detract from the reality of the photo.

What kind of camera are you using? Just curious.

Keep shooting - you will only get better as you practice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Very nice pictures. Do you use anykinds of lenses like Circular Polarizer Lense? Shooting water usually benefits alot from Circular Polarizer lense and also brings out blues and greens out, while removing reflections. IMHO CPL is well worth of owning.

Your pictures are really good. You have good eye. Like in that first picture you have also details in foreground. Twings and log. It IMHO makes picture full and living I'd say.
