Hi all,
past 3 day I had a lot of fun realizing this sheath for my Scrap Yard Scrapper 5 (which I consider a great knife!). I used veg tan leather (3,2 mm thickness), wire was from paracord, dye from toasted barley, and the sheath was finished with olive oil...so this could be called a real "biological" sheath I guess!
Well, let's go show any pics, the sheath is still a bit wet, anyway...

I prefer to leave a little hole on the end of the sheath, to avoid humidity inside the sheath

any more pics...

Hope you enjoi! Ciao! Alfredo

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if you don't take it out and use it, it's going to rust.

That is a great looking sheath there. I am really impressed with the use of natural items too. Great job.

Send it to me and I will see how it holds up to the Sweltering heat and humidity of SouthEast Missouri! And IF I don't loose it I'll send it back to ya in a month or so!
