Didn't try and get out ALL the factory grind marks but enough to make it a more smooth polished edge. Figured I didn't want to remove to much metal from the blade! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Like YEAH, that's gonna happen.

awesome! im glad i went with the moss. so it has a smooth finish? not like the normal crinkle coating? It's bumpy but smooth,no krinkle.I love it. I had a Scrapper 5 with a moss coating. Though I didn't like the color, I LOVED the texture. I wouldn't have considered the original crinkle coat to be abrasive until the moss coating came out. It has dimples like a golf ball, very slick. The tactical types would call it "high speed, low drag". I would love to see more colors with that texture.

This exact thing just happened to me! HRLM and Swamp Warden. Haven't even opened the box yet.. Think I'll do that now.
Edit: Immediate impressions are that the Warden is larger than I thought (pleasant surprise), and the HRLM is thicker than I thought (another pleasant surprise). Unfortunately the HRLM choil is not big enough, which annoys me. Should have not had one or had a microchoil.

I would love to see more colors with that texture. sweet! i was kinda worried that i wouldnt like moss, but all the pictures and descriptions make it sound awesome. im looking forward to my moss warden.
