Thanks Dan. I look forward to getting my hands on mine...I've seen them go for shloads of money on ebay or whatever, I was very happy to get one for a reasonable price even if it was a bit used. I'm always been of the mindset that I didn't care how pretty it was because I'm going to bash the hell out of it anyways.

I got the vex for a steal. He dropped the price HUGELY from what he had, and suddenly both of em got snatched up in no time at all. I'd been eyeballing it but didn't want to drop initial asking price on it.

If I hadn't just gotten one, I would have snatched one of those last night, I almost grabbed a second one anyways, they are that nice

Yeah I couldn't believe how little he was asking for it, guess he had to move it fast. And thankfully the black micarta was snatched up first, I have a thing for tan micarta so I couldn't resist it. I've never held a vex but read good things.

Thank you. I look forward to recieving them. I've been meaning to find a small bladed knife that I really really like, I'm hoping the vex might be it.

You did very well on both, as they are both great knives! I think you will be happy with the Vex - it's a nice little knife!

Great scores md. The dogather is a long use chopping monster! The Vex is near perfection in its ergonomic simplicity for slicing. Two great ones at either end of the spectrum. Fill that in with an S5/S5LE or an RMD (or both!) and you are good to go... anywhere!

I actually just picked up a RMD from Eric direct at swamp rat (tan micarta with sage blade) and a scrapper 5 off a nice guy on the jerzeedevil forums. So it looks like I'm all set

I hope I like the vex as much as you guys do!!

Good one to have there bro. Who else thinks the DF is the chopper that all others should be judged by?

lol I have a battle rat, a waki (on the way, anyways), two RMDs, four wardens, a HRLM, and several others. Yeah the bank account is already crying. And I decided to refinish my beretta 96 brigadier this week too. Man I'm a glutton.
