Well i spoke up, so i guess i better put up. The Reg fits like a glove in the Spec-Ops sheath i already had [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest002.jpg[/img][/image] [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest001.jpg[/img][/image]
Took the Reg for the first road test today- [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest008.jpg[/img][/image]
A look thru the woods after a long winter, and the most rainy March on record [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest011.jpg[/img][/image]
started out choppin small [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest006.jpg[/img][/image]
moved on to batoning some Oak [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest007.jpg[/img][/image]
That stuff was way too easy, so i decided to fell this 70 foot pine [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest012.jpg[/img][/image]
Then returned home and put the Dogs back in the pen [img][image]http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy63/mugsy1966/Regulator%20road%20test/Regulatorroadtest013.jpg[/img][/image]
Happy Easter guys

Very nice pics how do you have that smaller knife attached? Do you get a lot of use out of the electrical tape?

To be honest with you dark, i had a 7.5 x .25 inch cheapo chopper in there for the last couple years and it was just a tad loose. The Reg fit in there like it was made for it, snug but not tight, but its funny you mentioned heating it, i let it sit in the sun all day yesterday and i swaer it helped.

The little knife is just a cheap Timberline Pitbull held w/some cut strips of bicycle inner tube, its tough and holds nice and tight. Nothin beats the old Ranger band. I use 'em everywhere.
The tape is mostly used to assist me in slappin up a quick shelter, especially in the wind, but it has endless other capabilities..its the next best thing to rope, its small, strong, light as a feather and flammable.
Thanks for the replies gang
