Hello everyone, I have been sniffing around the scrap yard for a couple of months and decided it was time to join the pack. What I really need is some help bringing myself to buy the regulator so any words of incouragement are welcome. Words of discouragement are also welcome but I doubt I will see any <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />.

Welcome to the yard....I balked myself, as I'm just not much of a fan of fighter styled knives, but enough people here, whose opinions I respect, are calling it possibly the best knife to come out of the yard. I don't see how that can be true compared to my beloved DFCG, Muk, SS4, BDLE and S5....but its enough of an endorsement for me to take a chance at only a little over $100.00

DO IT! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Do it! you wont be sorry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

And if worse comes to worse, you can always sell it for double the price once they are no longer available in the store <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

I have a S5 AND DDF that I paid more than Original price! And I have not regretted a single purchase! Im glad I got the Dereg at original Price! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Im still looking for a Scrapper6 and i cant find one for under 185 bucks!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I have never hunted an animal, but Ill make an exception for Micheal Vick!

Get it now or wish you had when you search for one on the secondary market. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

Inside each knife is a new adventure waiting to be had...maybe some blood and probably some suture.

Soon to be the owner of one regulator+sheath. I can't wait to bring it into the woods so I can see how my first scrap yard knife performs.

Stryker, I like your handle. The Benchmade Stryker is one of my favorite folders and the armored combat vehicle that the Army calls the Stryker is pretty bad too.

I already posted a comment about why I think folks should buy at least one in the I gave in to the temptation..... thread. Even though I like them, I wouldn't call them perfect, but they're a great knife for the money and most people love them.

Stryker, you'd a hated yourself forever if you hadn't pulled that trigger.
I'm new here myself, got my Regulator in Wednesdays mail, and I'm already addicted.

Buy the knife because it is a quality knife... don't try to buy extras to sell.. they may or may not bring you more than you paid... I know from experience... my mistake... buy the knife because it is exactly what it is... a great knife, a great price, and a super value for your investment...

Scrap Yard knives are worth the price from the source.... after market is worth it to those of us afflicted with quality steel fever...

Nuff said
