I have been waiting a long time for this order and let me tell you it has been worth the wait!!

Someone started a thread many months age about piggyback/double/triple sheaths and I love the idea.

So I knew Rainwalker was going to be my man when it came to a SoDLE/S5 Double.

I sent Jeff an email in July and I asked for a lot (I thought I would get an email back telling me I was crazy)! But Jeff responded telling me he could meet all my needs but he was backed up many months. I have seen pictures and reviews of Jeff’s stuff and I didn’t mind waiting.

Jeff was great to work with and he made suggestions and I had more requests. All I could say was:

WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!

Jeff came up with the idea of having the sheaths be able to separate.

I had him put on a loop for a FireSteel and one for a Eze-Lap sharpener (not pictured because I can’t find mine)

I love danglers but wanted a removable one so I could wear it High Ride with the X-loop

I knew from the small size difference in the two blades a strap wouldn’t work with the SoD so I asked for a Kydex insert. Jeff did a great job by sandwiching the Kydex between leather so the blade still sits in leather!

The S5LE sheath alone with a drop loop attachment.

I don’t know if Jeff did this on purpose but the SoD sheath can be worn right or left handed.

After he was done he called it the Swiss Army knife of sheaths! It really does everything.

While taking pictures I realized I could add other sheaths (Kydex by JRod)

Yes it is thick but wears well

I didn’t get a picture of it but Jeff included a strap so the rig can be worn for shoulder carry.

A big Thank You goes out to Rainwalker for this one! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Seth, that is an awesome looking sheath..congrats. We're lucky to have so many great sheath makers at our disposal and I've patronized just about all of them with complete happiness and satisfaction, but time and time again my favorite sheaths, both leather and kydex, are made by Rainwalker. The piggyback he made for my M9LE and HCLE gets compliments every time I bring it out.

That is amazing! I don't know what else to say, he really does elevate sheath making to an art form. Just, wow!

Rainwalker is an artist!
Did he need you to send the blades or does he usually have his own Busse collection available?

Great looking set-up. The piggy back or single carry looks like it will last a lifetime. Congrats.
