Vic I can probably hook you up at the Holiday Inn Express just across I-285 from the Galleria. Traveling for work all the time has its perks (priority club points). Be a shame if the big Dog wasnt there. Holler at me.

Right now, I don't know if I can make it or not. It has been an expensive Spring for me. I applied for Social Security retirement benefits back in January, but have not yet been "approved" by whatever nameless bureaucrat approves these things. If that money shows up, I can go, but it might be too late to get a hotel near the show by then, and I do not drive around in big cities. I would love to attend this year but it is not in the cards. Just too much stuff going on with school, a school trip to Chicago the week before, football and wrestling commitments, and of course like you mentioned an expensive spring. As to the SSI deal. If they deny you, just reapply. I know my father was denied the first time through but he got it in the second go around. I have heard that pretty much every applicant is denied the first go round--go figure, they don't mind taking it from us but not giving it back. Hang in there, I hope you get your benie's and can go to Blade.

The VIP pass from Busse is an information sheet. You will still stand in line, pay $5.00 and get a neck lanyard. If you go the 1st day which opens at noon there will be hogs,rats,and dogs at the front of the line at 8 AM. VIP passes get in at noon and regular badges at 2:00.
