Are they having trouble FINDING people or choosing from the thousands of resumes. A lot of people are out of work around here.

Will do and Thanks. You know, it means a lot when people you don't actually KNOW do things like this and you KNOW they mean it! It's not just hollow words like it many times is when folks say good things IN PERSON. I hope I have said this the right way. Sometimes my thinking and typing don't always coincide.

In the old days I have been told that pen pals sometimes formed lasting friendships, sometimes lasting decades with the people never meeting.
I just think this is the modern version.
To my mind a community does not have to be centered around a physical location

Very true Yote.

Oh. Part time isn't enough...and I'm not much of a sales guy.
During the summer you would work 30 to 40 hours a week, pm me if you want more details.
You can always go in and see if they are hiring in the back

My Mom found a lump the year before last. It was a scary and trying time waiting to hear results and then the surgery to remove it. Best wishes to your family Randy. My heart and prayers are with you!

They hire to the sales curve. I really don't know, I was just talking to the district manager about going up there.

We have the same problem at my company, thousands of resumes but no one worth nothing. There is a reason most of these people are out of work.

Scary but true insight to the America of today. /sigh.

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

VERY well said Yote, and It's true. I worked for a Lt.Col when I was stationed in Japan. He was one of the good ones. ANYWAY, I have not seen from him or heard his voice since 1991. Yet we converse via email at times and always remember each other with Christmas cards etc. Yes, I DID work for him but we had still remained friends over these 19 years just via email and cards. Friendship CAN come about and quite strong ones at that, even if the people have never met. I consider ALL you folks my friends and I thank you for allowing me to become a part of your life.

Randy

When the economy is good we tend to get the worse applicants. In a worse economy we tend to get more and better applicants. We will see how this last group turns out.
