i am exposed still and my feet, chest, and face are a little cool. i have to run back in and get a blanket but i just wanted to see how it feels and my lower side is discernibly warmer than my upper side.

I think peer pressure is overrated.
When they are young spend quality time with them.
Make sure they know how important they are to you, build two way communication before they hit school.
Make sure they know you value their opinions
Set boundries and always follow through with promises and consequences.

Our house was always the house, the one where the kids came to play, it was work but we knew what our kids were doing.
For years I made breakfast Sunday morning, waffles or pancakes mostly, most sundays we had guests
My daughters are 21 and almost 20 and they have never caused us any trouble

not sure i'll ever have kids, but i'm gonna hold onto that.

hopefully i will get paid for some gear i sold off (over a year ago) and some work i did. it would give me some breathing room and a chance to pick up a bwm and maybe a pocket pistol.

He was shopping for a pearl necklace and had about 3grand cash on him (this was 30 years ago) and he was coming to the top of an escalator when he three punk kids approched him (he had a bad day at work) and they started to say something to him. He reacted and hit the first one in the face knocking him out, the second he tossed down the elevator,the third gave him room to get by.

Now my dad went and got the pearls but got to thinking he might have killed these kids and went back to check things out everyone was gone.

My dad is not a violent man but something set him off.

Now my the kicker - he tells me he wasn't even sure what the kids said to him they could have just been asking the time.
