rained here in cali too. supposed to rain again tomorrow but it looks like the storm has passed.

Oh man, there's nothing better than hearing a soft/medium rain on a tin roof! Oh and it needs to be sorta kinda cool.

Central Washington is great. I'm just working and posting. I've got a big presentation on Friday.

And, thanks for the comments about my pic. My boy and his cousin are only a few months apart. They are growing up very close like my cousins and I did.

I was an only child, but I was one of seven boy cousins who were all born within 2 years of eachother. It was an awesome childhood.


We all moved back and all our kids are growing up together too.

I'm only gonna be working 3 nights this week, taking Friday and Saturday nights off to go to Arkansas, Grandbaby sightseeing!

3 months wait sucks Skunk! You guys just stay positive and toss that on the back burner until there is something more you can do about it. Stressing over it won't help any but happiness heals and will help the time fly by.

K: That's nice. I am an only child. My wife had 2 sisters (one died in 2002 from colon cancer) and a brother. Not a large family, but they were close. Don't really know what happened but when her father died of a bleeding stomach ulcer/heart problems in 2004 the family just drifted apart. It really bothers her.

Thanks lazi, that's what we PLAN on trying to do. But after just getting the news on Monday it will need a little time to fade some.

Kan: We have one granddaughter that lives only 10 miles away. The mother and My stepson never married and now she is married to someone else. We never get to see her. It has been almost a year. Now My stepson lives in arkansas (workes for U P railroad) and they are about 350 miles away. Hopefully we will be able to visit them a few times a year at least.

Family is so important. However, family can be found in other places too, like a church, work, or neighborhood.
