I spent my knife money the other day on something I have been wanting for a while. I got a S&W Model 17 with a 6" brl. It is a blue .22 lr double action revolver and a 12-2 series so it is still a pinned, with a set of presentation grips. Almost a mirror image of my S&W Model 19 in .357 mag. Made for busting pieces of clay target at 50 meters easy. Lovely gun. Sometimes steel just has to wait.

I was into guns very heavy but moved some to pay bills, live, and get steel. Now I am going back towards gun steel for only things I will use and not so much to accumulate. I am more rotating the stuff if you know what I mean.
How hard is it to get .303 Brit ammo in Canada? There is not any .303 here in the States except the commercial or crappy Pakistani. On occasion you can fins someone moving South Africa, Winchester that was loaded up for a Canadian contract, and good British ammo. But those days of shooting cheap SMLE's are over.

I looked at the FN 5.7 again today. The one for 900 is on consignment. So, if I want to trade into one, I'd have to get a new one.
I want to trade my Ruger 10/22M .22 magnum and a Savage. .17HMR for one.
