I'm good Saint. Work was productive today. We rescheduled my big meeting from this friday to next friday. But, I landed a couple meetings today. Very, very productive.

No fishing today, it's way to windy. But, not too windy for a bike ride.

I may head back to town and pick up the 5.7. This Death Chat is going to be the Death of me. Too much cool gear.

It was a slow day for me. I didn't do to much. I might have passed the addiction to a good friend of mine. I was showing him videos and pics of some of the SY knives and he seem very anxious to see my Reg when I get it. Wait till he sees a DFCG in PERSON!

Way to much cool gear and to many people to tell you about how GREAT it is. Resistance is futile!!

Funny - just posted on another thread that I sold my 5.7 because the handle was too big for me. Great round - low recoil and not too difficult to reload.

Tagati,

I want to use it for grouse at about 25 yards.

I would not choose it as a first choice for a SD gun, as I have a XDM40.

The XDs are great! Such a solid choice.

Forgive the ignorant question but wouldn't a shotgun be a better bet for grouse?

For sure Tagati,

A shotgun would make it really, really easy. We shoot grouse while hiking around hunting for deer. So, carrying a rifle AND a shotgun is not ideal.

Also, I plan to use it for plinking.
