Kinda boreing at times, but sometime necessary.
Yeah, they're stock 381 HP, they guy that owned it before me worked at toyota and put some performance parts in it. He had it tested and he said it pushed close to 400.
Priorities though.
I'll be letting go of some guns and blades too.
The things that matter aren't going anywhere though. My family is healthy and happy. My boys don't care about all that stuff anyhow. They just want to fish, swim and ride their bikes. And that costs next to nothing.
A little over a year ago, the wife was only working part-time, our retirement fund was getting fed, saving was good and had extra to play with.
What's funny is at that time, I felt like I had arrived. Note to self: you never truly arrive until your sitting with your maker.
I was the top rep in the region that year. I won every award there was to win. Trips, bonuses all the extras.
Then the lay-offs hit. 3000 of us looking for work.
I decided to start my own company. Not the easiest path, but it's what I chose.
Now, life seems like an adventure.
It gives me an excellent opportunity to show my boys how to handle adversity.
Things will continue to improve.
