Thinking about it as a summer ankle carry option.

My beloved Kimber Ultra carry is too obvious when I don't have a jacket on.

If this is half a JYD then is it the front half or the rear end?

Has anyone had experience with a S&W 317? I don't but it looks like an awesome piece. As far as ankle carry, it might be a bit "thick". I have a 340PD and it feels bulky. A Ruger LCP maybe a better option for ankle carry. Although, I assume the much like IWB carry, the holster makes a big difference.

If this is half a JYD then is it the front half or the rear end? the optimist says the glass is half full, the pessimist says the glass is half empty, the engineer says it's a poorly designed glass
"hey man, there's a beverage involved!"

Weird day.
After work this morning, I decided head to town.
I put my Rock River LAR-8 in the back of my truck (which has a cover and a locking tailgate. I was going to see how much it would fetch me if I had to sell it.
WELL, I get to the gunshop and...it's not in my bed and the tailgate is open.
I tried to retrace my steps and my route. I could not stand the thought of losing 1200 gun AND having it floating around in the wrong hands.
So, I called it in as a lost/stolen firearm. While I was giving my info, the lady stopped me and said they may have it.
Well, when I went over some road construction, it flew out. It was in a hard case so, it was unharmed. A worker found it and decided to take it home to keep. Her co-workers called the authorities. The Sheriff had to go the the person's house to take the rifle. She was sure that she did not have to give it back. But, after hearing what would happen if she kept it, she turned it over.
Well, I'm going to give a reward to the person who called it in.
NOTE TO SELF: NEVER PUT A RIFLE IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK EVEN IF ITS COVERED AND LOCKED.
