Just had a bad night at work. Got home and logged in, almost started to rant here on Zombie Chat when I heard my 9 m/o son crying on the monitor. Prepaired a bottle and went in to feed him. Bonding time with him is like crack to me. I don't see him much when I'm working nights, and this was exactly what I needed. All is well now.

He just saved you all from a rant.

I think he did. I had a nice case of heartburn worked up over this, but that boy has just settled my nerves, probably more than I was able to settle his. My symptoms are nearly gone. Wish I could bottle this stuff.

Unfortunately my mind many times does not work in a straight line (replying to one of your above posts). It just kind jumps around from place to place. Good thing to, otherwise it may not work at all!

Just to shed a little light on what's going on at my work-

I'm a process technician at a refinery. There's another PT that I work with that sometimes fills in for my supervisor, and he finds great pleasure in irritating me. He failed to find another technician to relieve me for the day shift which would've forced me to work another 6 hours on top of my regular 12 hour shift. I work 18 hours fairly regularly, but he failed to inform me about this and I just had to find out on my own at the end of the shift when I had no relief set up. The oncoming supervisor was able to find some one to fill in for me. I'm just glad he was already gone by the time I was able to make it back to the office.

I skipped all of the colorful details for fear of working myself up again.
