Good memory ST. Yeah!
So, the net-net is that my father accidentally put too much pressure on them with all of his excitement building up to the hunt. They went completely nocturnal on us, and we didn't get a chance at anything. On Friday, we were stalking through another piece of property...and as luck would have it...about the time that we were ready to give up and consequently got LAZY trudging through some knee deep water...we spooked up a group of Pigs. There was a LOUD snort, and we could see them running in different directions around us. One large male hung back, from what looked to me to be a "defensive" position...staring us down at about 15 yds. My dad and I had dropped, and I could barely see through all the thick brush....the Hog turned and bailed. No clean shots, so we just enjoyed the moment...got a kick out of it.

What's your Drink of choice tonight Sumo? I was just diggin thru my bartenders black book thinking what I might like to try soon. There's some wacky names for some of these drinks, lol. Frozen Screaming German diggin for Gold? little out of my price-range though. Goldschlager is way to expensive.

What a ride...I love a good turkey hunt. When I was really young, I could do a fantastic Screech Owl call with my voice (most young men can, because of the "break")....could locate gobblers in a jiffy. I miss it. The pigs are a hoot...can't wait to get one ECF: We should have a new weekly drink out of that book of yours

I haven't had a chance to hunt turkey yet, but the land I'm going to be hunting on is privately owned, and the gentleman who owns it said we're welcome to take a few game animals while we're out there, but our focus is going to be on predators mainly, since the 'yotes are getting outta control. Last rundown of animals on the land, there was turkey, deer, 'yotes, the occasional bobcat, and a ton of wabbits. Might be a few prairie dogs too, so there should be some target practice too.
Treat her like gold, and I'm sure she'll reward you tired!

I can do that Ishi, too easy. there's something like 200 recipes in it. I think it was intended for fully stocked bars though, there's a LOT of booze that just completely outside of a your E-4 Specialist's budget, lol. I can cross reference it by alcohol type too, so if anyone has any suggestions or a favorite mixer type, I can drum something up for just about anything.
