Good luck on it. I have a skeleton classes today due to state testing so I have a few minutes to catch up with the morning crew.

I just picked up the May 2010 edition of shooting illustrated, and found an interesting article about how an AK can be run quite well, if anyone has an AK they use for serious defensive uses. Cool article on the New Benelli MR-1, as an AR-like option as well.

What boomstick do you have set up and ready to rock and roll right now? Safariland has a really nifty setup for standard handgaurd ARs, and there's lots of makers of mounts for picatinny rails. If you look hard enough, you might be able to find something with QD ability as well, which would be good for transitioning to another weapon. I have the troy quad rails (M&P 15T) so will dig around to see what I can find with QD ability. Look at the Daniel Defense PAK mount. It is a wuick attach/detach that is about 40 bucks on the used market. Best mount and it is offset so you dont have to use a light switch. Thanks Sumo - will check it out.

Right on, Daniel's defence makes some solid rail mounts as well, I wouldn't doubt it'd be a good mount
