Is SR101 a busse-fied version of 52100? Yep So have you found it a significant improvement? I batoned a 2x4 with a 52100 BRKT blade and tore the heck out of it. (reminds me I need to send it back for reprofiling)

Anyone have much luck forcing a patina on their LEs to keep 'em from rusting?
i don't know much about steel except what i have learned around here. i've seen the question asked but from what i can tell most guys just let it happen with no worries. my muk and scrapper seemed to have no problems in the kitchen but my s5le didn't really do so hot on it's first day thanks to me.

ok, so while the great minds ponder my last few Qs, I'll throw another one out there. Swamp Warden: useful? Never really understood the skeletonized neckers. Lightweight backup blade, I assume. Worth a looksie?

Worth a looksie? And how useful is a paracord wrap? I assume it's primarily used to give it a better grip.

Worth a looksie? looks like it would be a nice small, light, thin, compact blade. good for edc'ing. never handled one but i do have one coming. the reason i got it is cause i can see my self carrying it in my pocket with a nice pocket carry leather sheath. or even around my neck under my shirt.
