It will be good to get a NMFBM at retail. I'm trying to swing a visit to my clients in Atlanta around the same time....

Ha! I know, and then I remembered I spent the same on the Muk and it made me realize how much of a real steal that price was! Plus, I gave it to him with my Rainwalker original prototype kydex x-sheath. It was hard to part with that, but for family it's worth it. Dude, I would so go for that regulator if I had the cash. I gave my original TT Regulator away to a really good friend, also with a Rainwalker sheath. And, I gave away my scrapper 5 with Buy Brown sheath to another cousin. And my Ranger to yet another cousin. Problem is the three are brothers and I didn't want any of them to feel left out. Sheesh.

I was thinking about how busse and bussekin knives have messed up my sense of what is expensive now It definitely throws things. I find myself buying target brand hairwash over the branded product to save $2 but blowing a car payment on a knife without thinking about it.

Hey! Thanks Sethro. Been gone too long. Gave my Muk away, but it was to my cousin who's a chef and appreciates fine steel. For his wedding last week I bought him a chef's knife he put on his registry. He thought nobody would buy it because it was 100 bucks. I asked him if he forgot he invited me to the wedding. Its nuts that our value structure in regard to knives is so skewed. We look at $100 bucks for a knife and think that is a steal... No, we think it's a "steel" (badumbum). Thank you! I'm here all week. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I think I sold $500 worth of stuff over the past 2-3 weeks and bought $600 worth of blades. Funny how they add up...
