decided to go a little further with the sharpening today. i wondered if metal glo would work like jewelers rouge on my leather belt so i spread some on and got to stropping. the hairs are splitting with notably greater ease.

Hmmm. I've been using the two compound set you can get on knivesshipfree and it seems to work fairly well. Metal glo eh?

i'm confident that the compounds you use are more effective than the metal glo, but i didn't have any so i thought i'd give it a shot. looking at a 6oz green rouge right now and maybe a barber's strop.
