well, today i sold myself. no not like that......  walking 15 minutes early, polished shoes, nice pants and shirt, had my Pelican Case 1430 transport case for a briefcase with my resume and licence info. Met the owner, shook his hand, told him about me and the new Class 3 truck licence, and within 20 minutes was walking out the door as one of his new hires. I start at 0630 hours tomorrow, will be getting a training wage (half of the regular wage, standard for BC canada) for a few days when i'm paired with the other driver, then its starting wages of $18 , med/dental after 6 months, and regular wage bumps up to $24 hour. 6 days a week, 8 - 9 hours a day. That kinda cash will bring lots 'o Dogs home! Congrats brother! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

there is something very magical and timeless about looking out a window into the yard, and seeing an old man relaxing in the sun , and playing with his tabby cat, who is jumping onto his lap and shoulder and nuzzling his master. I would post pics but i respect my neighbour's privacy. thanks all for the support! hopefully in the next few months i will be out of the living on a buck a day routine, and get me some new clothes and gear! my treat to myself in a few months is this: a new RECCE smock from the AWESOME crew at Drop Zone http://www.dropzonetactical.com/clothing/reccesmock.htmlplus a new pair of bush pants and some kydex for some of my blades

Nice looking smock. I picked up an otte gear eVent fabric parka to replace a jacket that I returned to TAD. It has fully surpassed all of my expectations. It was about 100.00 on the auction site. I know you probably have your heart set on the smock, but if you're looking for something similar...
